Aqualem Warranty (Canada & U.S.)

1. Warranty Coverage

Aqualem warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship for the applicable warranty period. This non-transferable warranty applies only to the original purchaser of products purchased from an authorized Aqualem distributor and installed in Canada or the United States.

2. Residential Warranty

• For residential applications, ceramic disc cartridges and diverter cartridges are covered for the lifetime of the original purchaser.
• Thermostatic cartridges, pressure-balance cartridges, non-ceramic diverters, service stops, and check valves are covered for five years.
• Showerheads, hand showers, shower hoses, kitchen faucet spray heads, and pull-out hoses are covered for three years.
• All other product components and parts are covered for five years.
• Polished chrome, stainless steel, and PVD finishes are covered for the lifetime of the original purchaser. Matte black finishes are covered for three years. All other finishes are covered for five years.
• Aging, raw, and drain finishes are not covered under this warranty. Lifetime coverage applies only to the original purchaser and original installation.

3. Commercial, Multi-Family & Rental Property Warranty

• Products installed in multi-family properties, including condominiums, apartments, townhomes, and similar multi-unit residential properties, are covered for five years.
• For multi-family applications, matte black and antique brass matte finishes are covered for two years. Aging, raw, and drain finishes are not covered.
• Products installed in residential rental properties are covered for two years. Aging, raw, and drain finishes are not covered.
• Products installed in commercial, institutional, hospitality, industrial, or public-use applications are covered for two years. Aging, raw, and drain finishes are not covered.
• Warranty periods are calculated from the original date of purchase. Where more than one category may apply, the warranty period corresponding to the property’s actual use will apply. Any property used for rental purposes is subject to the Rental Property Warranty, regardless of property type.

4. Our Commitment

• If Aqualem determines that a product or component is defective in material or workmanship during the applicable warranty period, Aqualem may, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the product or defective part with the same or a comparable model.
• Any replacement product or part is covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period. Replacement does not restart or extend the original warranty period. These remedies are the purchaser’s exclusive remedies under this warranty.

5. Warranty Exclusions

• This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from improper installation, misuse, abuse, negligence, normal wear and tear, improper maintenance, harsh chemicals, hard water or mineral buildup, excessive water pressure, unauthorized modification or repair, freezing, or the use of unapproved installation materials.
• Aqualem is not responsible for labour, installation, removal, transportation, inspection, or any incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including damage to surrounding property.
